Boughton sponsors DVBIA Appreciation Awards
Boughton is excited for the opportunity to present the award for the 2010 Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association Individual Outstanding Appreciation Award to this year’s recipient, John Furlong. John was the Chief Executive Office of the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralymic Winter Games. George Cadman, Q.C. will present this award to Mr. Furlong on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the Annual Awards Ceremony being held at the Bill Reid Gallery at 4.30 p.m.
The DVBIA Appreciation Awards acknowledge an individual and organization that have made significant contributions to downtown Vancouver. Previous recipients include the late Jack Poole, David Podmore, Ian Gillespie, The Sun Run, The Vancouver Police Department, Carole Taylor, Philip Owen, the Vancouver 2010 Bid Corporation, Covenant House Vancouver, Holt Renfrew and CelticFest Vancouver Society. Recipients for the 19th annual awards include: John Furlong, Simon Fraser University and Joseph Segal.
