Elizabeth Reid practices as both a barrister and a solicitor focussing on employment, labour and human rights matters. She also has a strong background in corporate/commercial and business law. Prior to her call to the Bar, Ms. Reid clerked at the British Columbia Court of Appeal, where she did legal research and analysis for members of the judiciary. During law school, Ms. Reid was recognized with awards for her achievement in employment law and appellate advocacy.
Ms. Reid takes pride in getting to know her clients well and tailoring her advice to their legal and practical circumstances. She drafts trial, appellate and administrative pleadings, and has represented clients at proceedings in both the trial and appellate courts of British Columbia. Ms. Reid also negotiates, drafts and reviews all manner of contracts which touch on the employment relationship.
