George Cadman practices civil litigation, with emphasis on resolution of corporate/commercial, securities and real estate disputes. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1990.
Mr. Cadman has over 30 years experience as counsel before all levels of Canadian courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court (trial and appellate divisions), the Tax Court of Canada, provincial Superior and appellate courts, as well as various administrative tribunals. He has an active practice in both mediation and arbitration.
He has appeared as counsel on professional discipline matters for real estate, securities and financial service clients, and provides governance and risk management advice as general counsel to a number of family-owned enterprises and community associations.
He also has a practice in government relations, especially relating to the gaming industry and development sector, assisting clients in securing licenses, permit and site approvals, as well as on contract tender matters and liaising with Government on policy changes.
