Scott MacKenzie has a general practice in civil litigation. He has appeared as counsel in both the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal.
Mr. MacKenzie's practice includes litigation of commercial disputes in the areas of construction, real estate, employment, securities and contractual disputes. He also provides litigation support and advice to financial services groups and brokerage firms.
Mr. MacKenzieacts for owners, developers, contractors and subcontractors in construction disputes, including lien claims, breach of contract and negligence actions, and claims against architects and engineers. He also represents owners and tenants in commercial lease disputes.
Mr. MacKenzie provides advice in relation to the law of tendering. His support involves analysis of the rights and obligations of bidders and owners in the tender process, with an emphasis on protecting the integrity of the bidding process.
