Steve is the co-chair of our Banking Law Group and advises both institutional and private lenders as well as borrowers in the financing of a broad range of businesses involving real estate, vessels and aircraft, aboriginal lands, farms and commercial operations. He is legally qualified in both British Columbia and England & Wales and and holds an LL.M in Corporate & Commercial Law from the University of London.
Prior to qualifying as a lawyer in British Columbia in 2005, Steve practised for a number of years in London, England and has extensive experience in all aspects of asset financing. He has particular expertise in the drafting and negotiation of vessel financing documentation, shipbuilding contracts and in the sale and purchase of vessels.
