About This Area of Practice
We advise employers and employees on matters related to employment relationships governed by B.C. or Federal legislation and act for employers in labour relations matters.
Our practice includes representing clients in wrongful dismissal claims in the B.C. courts, human rights complaints, employment standards and workers compensation matters, labour board hearings, grievance meetings and arbitrations, mediations and other employment or labour related administrative hearings.
Our lawyers also have expertise in advising, drafting and reviewing employment agreements, severance agreements and collective bargaining contracts. We advise clients and assist our corporate group with all aspects of business planning, organization and acquisitions and sales of businesses.
We provide ongoing advice on employee disciplinary and workplace matters. Our group is active in the B.C. branch of the Canadian Bar Association and with continuing legal education.
